“Lider Fun Amol” means songs from long ago. And they are songs we love to sing today. I set out to discover which songs made people in Winnipeg, Manitoba light up – “I remember that one!” I listened to hear which songs charmed people into singing along. These songs are wonderful for families of all generations to share. They’re a beautiful introduction to Yiddish culture and language for students. And they’re pure magic for seniors who grew up hearing Yiddish songs, and the people who love them and care for them. Listen, sing and enjoy!
